The mission of Friends of Lawrence and Milroy Parks is to enhance the quality of life of the greater Heights community by building and maintaining safe, high-quality parks; preserving open space and community areas; fostering community engagement; and creating a great experience for all who visit.

Our Vision
Our vision is renewed and renovated Lawrence and Milroy Parks, outfitted with updated equipment for play and amenities that make the parks more accessible and convenient for all. That once these parks are completed they attract visitors of all ages, become a focal point for the community, and are continuously maintained to provide a great experience for decades to come.

Planning and Design
Phase 2
Official layout and design of both parks ($600k raised)

Requires community and city meetings to gather wants, needs, and understand what we can actually build with funds raised (estimated $1m for both parks new playgrounds and shade structures)

Bidding out playground equipment and construction costs (will include grading and leveling, retention, etc.)

While we are doing phase two, we can start pulling permits for construction
